Aloysius D'Almeida elected president of Udupi Catholic Credit Co-operative Society

Udupi, Feb 7: Aloysius D'Almeida Manipal was unanimously elected as the president of Udupi Catholic Credit Co-operative Bank Ltd. Louis Lobo Kalmady was elected as the vice-president.

Udupi Catholic Credit Co-operative society is a leading among co-operative societies in Udupi. It has created a mark among the Catholic Christians and in past years has helped many Christians by providing loan and other banking facilities.

Aloysius D'Almeida is a founding member of Udupi Catholic Credit Co-operative Bank. He has also served as director for the past 18 years. Aloysius D'Souza is the founder editor of Amcho Sandesh Konkani monthly and an active member of Catholic Sabha and various other organizations. He has played key role of president in Konkani Sanghatan Udupi district which works for the Konkani language and culture.

Aloysius D'Almeida Manipal will continue his service for the next 5 years of term as the president of Udupi Catholic Credit Co-operative bank Ltd. His service in Minority Forum is regarded. Aloysius D'Almeida is a retired staff of MIT Manipal.

Felix Pinto Kemmannu, Franklin Menezes Kalmady, James D'Souza Yermal, Percy J Dsouza Kallianpur, Louis Lobo Kalmady, Kevin Periera Udyavar, Archibold S D'Souza Thottam, Ignatius Monis Moodubelle, Jacintha D'Souza Moodubelle, Dr Nery Cornelio Kallianpur, Gilbert Fernandes Moodubelle and Loyset Corenlio Udupi, are the other directors for the term.
