Speaking about the suspicious death of Nagara Subrahmanya Achar Dinakar Nadur, a close aide of Subrahmanya Achar said, "The death of Subrahmanya Achar has raised many questions. We were together till 1 pm that night. He then went to visit his long time friend, Santhosh Kulal in Mangaluru. They were friends for the past eight years. For the past one month, Santhosh Kulal cut contact with Subrahmanya Achar due to a few issues between the two. There may be circumstances that the quarrel had grown and something bad had happened.

"We checked the post mortem report which indicated that death occurred due to poison mixed with alcohol. We are trying to find out the truth."
