Chitradurga: 'Down in dumps, Kharge is spent force,' - Kateel

Daijiworld Media Network - Chitradurga (SP)

Chitradurga, Feb 10: "Defeated senior Congress leader, Mallikarjun Kharge, has not even become the member of the legislative council or Rajya Sabha. Therefore politically he is a spent force like an extinguished lamp. He is covered in darkness," ridiculed state BJP president, Nalin Kumar Kateel.

Kateel was speaking to media persons on Sunday, February 9 at the district BJP office here. As a retort to Mallikarjun Kharge's statement comparing Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, to a zero candle bulb, Kateel compared Modi to a thousand volts halogen bulb which can light up the whole world.

"Congressmen follow the practice of divide and rule like the British. In the past, the British had divided and ruled the country, after which Congress did the same thing. Muhammed Ali Jinnah, who left the Congress party, created an Islamic country, Pakistan. Nehru divided secular India into minorities and majority," he said. He also branded former Prime Minister, H D Deve Gowda, as another face of the Congress who has been indulging in propping up Muslims against the Hindus. He said that the people of the JD(S) have neither hoisted the national flag nor raised the slogan, 'Bharath matha Ki Jai'.
