Jammu, Feb 22 (IANS): Nine people were killed while five others sustained injuries on Saturday evening after a vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in Kathua district of Jammu region, police officials said.
It was a local passenger vehicle which met with accident at Bhillawar in Kathua.
According to reports, a Sumo skidded off the road and fell into a 300-ft deep gorge in Kathua district after the driver of the vehicle lost control over the vehicle.
The injured have been shifted to the hospital.
