Kundapur: Chatupavithra Nagamandalotsava concludes at Ampar

Kundapur, Mar 19: Chatupavithra Nagamandalotsava was held in the campus of Amparu Shri Mahishamardini temple with the blessings of Vedamoorthy late Ramachandra Adiga Taudakallu and under the leadership of Vedamoorthy Manjunatha Adiga. The Nagamandalotsava was organized by children and family members of Indira and late Ganapati Bhat Amparu.

Sarpa Samskara ritual started on Wednesday, March 11. Various religious rituals were held on Saturday, March 14. These rituals were held again on the evening of Sunday, March 15.

The rituals of Nagamandalotsava started at 6 am on Monday, March 16. Food was offered to the devotees at 12 noon. Ranga Pooje was held at 6 pm followed by Ashtavadhana Seve. Milk was offered at 7 pm and Nagamandalotsava started at 9 pm.

Vedamoorthy Gopalakrishna Samaga of Sagri Udupi participated as Nagapatri. Sarvothama Vaidyaru, Ananda Vaidyaru, Ganapati Vaidyaru of Amparu cooperated in the rituals.

All the devotees were welcomed by Usharani and Raviraja Bhat, Nagapatris of Amparu, Indira Ganapati Bhat, Rekha, Nagaraja Bhat and brothers, sisters and family members.
