Kasargod, Mar 20: “Those who have returned to hometown from Dubai’s Naif should attend local health centres immediately,” said deputy commissioner Dr D Sajith Babu. He was speaking to news reporters on Friday, March 20.

As the virus was found in that region, the DC has issued the directions. “Several Kasargod based people are staying in Naif. Some of them have returned home. Those who returned after February 20 should attend local primary health centres. As the coronavirus spreads, there is no need to be afraid but certain precautions are necessary. It is sufficient if the directions of the state government are strictly followed,” said the deputy commissioner.

“A route map of the people contacted by the coronavirus affected person is being prepared. The cooperation of people is necessary for the purpose,” said deputy commissioner Dr D Sajith Babu. “The person whose infection was confirmed on March 19 had visited several houses and maintained contact with many people. Therefore, the route map is being prepared,” said the deputy commissioner.
