Udupi: Road Widening - One Way Traffic Between City and Manipal for a Month

Udupi, Dec 15: The district deputy commissioner has issued an order, enforcing one-way traffic between Kalsanka and Manipal for a month, from December 15, 2009 to January 15, 2010. This has been done to facilitate road widening work undertaken on this stretch of the road.

All the vehicles coming towards Udupi from Manipal are required to take a left turn near Manipal police station and move via Alevoor – Kukkikatte – Beedinagudde – Mission Hospital and reach the road to the bus stand near the Court Road. The buses moving to Manipal from Udupi will take the normal route, the notification said.
