Mangalore, Dec 16: The post graduation department of biotechnology, St Aloysius College (SAC), will organize a three-day lecture-cum-demonstration workshop on ‘Evolutionary Biology: Darwin and Beyond’, at Xavier block of science research at the SAC campus, from Thursday December 17 to Saturday December 19.
It will be held under the auspices of the Science Academies’ Education Programmes of Indian Academy of Sciences, Bangalore, Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi, and National Academy of Sciences, Allahabad.
The lecture-cum-demonstration workshop aims at reaching out to faculty and senior students of life sciences from the city and the districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi, with a view to engaging minds and rekindling thoughts on evolution in this bicentennial Darwin year.
