Udupi: Rajen Padukone is New CEO of Manipal Health Systems

Udupi, Dec 16: The board of directors of Manipal Health Systems (MHS), the integrated hospital service system of Manipal Education and Medical Group, has appointed Rajen Padukone as the CEO of the company. He was, until now, the president of campus operations, Manipal Education.   

In his new role, Rajen will provide the strategic thrust required to the various business activities that will enhance MHS’s leadership position in the industry. He will, in addition, also be responsible for optimizing operational excellence, clinical excellence, and drive strong growth while ensuring sound financial fundamentals.  
As president of campus operations, Rajen was responsible for Manipal Education’s Indian campus operations along with the international campuses in Malaysia, Nepal, and Dubai, and has achieved significant success for the Group. He has also considerably enhanced business focus and strengthened operations.

Rajen’s association with Manipal Education and Medical Group began in 1998. Prior to this, he was with ANZ Grindlays and worked in the areas of investment banking, money markets, and retail financial services.
