This is not good and looks like appeasement. If we continue to work on the basis of majority and minorities, we will not be able to achieve equality, equal opportunities, rule of law and democratic values. The flood has not done any partiality. Its impartial on its impact. Flood has affected both the minorities and majorities equally. On the whole I would say people irrespective of caste/creed/affiliations have been affected. Why to waive loans of minorities alone? Why not majorities are included in its fold. Stop this practice of divide and rule. Treat all citizens equally without bias. For united India, we must treat every one equally and there should not be any favours for one particular community.
