Udupi: Foundation Stone for New Lokayukta Building to be Laid on Dec 20

Udupi, Dec 19: The foundation stone laying ceremony for the new building meant to house the district Lokayukta office here, will be held at the Lokayukta office compound in the town at 10.00 am on Sunday December 20.
State home and district-in-charge minister, Dr V S Acharya, will lay the foundation stone. State public works minister, C M Udasi, will preside over the ceremony.
Lokayukta, Justice N Santosh Hegde, deputy Lokayukta, Justice Patri Basavana Gowda, MLA, Raghupati Bhat, Udupi –Chikmagalur MP, Sadanand Gowda, Shimoga MP, B S Raghavendra, Rajya Sabha member, Oscar Fernandes, Kundapur MLA, Halady Srinivas Shetty, Karkala MLA, Gopal Bhandary, MLCs, Capt Ganesh Karnik, K Pratapchandra Shetty and Kota Srinivas Poojary, Kaup MLA, Lalaji R Mendon, Byndoor MLA, Laxminarayan, zilla panchayat president, Gladys D’Almeida, taluk panchayat president, Shyamala Sudhakar and municipal president, Dinakar Shetty, will attend the programme, informed deputy superintendent of the Lokayukta police, Dr Prabhudev B Mane.
