Moodbidri, Dec 24: Various rituals including rishimandala worship and mangalarati will be held at Thousand Pillars Basadi, here on Friday December 25 from 2.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
A religious discourse will be held at 7.30 pm. Sri Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Swamiji will deliver a religious discourse on the occasion. Uttamchand Jain will preside over the programme.
Veteran scholar Chandrashekar Damle will be the key speaker at the religious discourse. MLA Abayachandra Jain, former state minister K Amarnath Shetty and K P Jagdish Adikari will be the chief guests.
The cultural programmes will be held at 9.00 pm by the artistes of Davalatraya Trust and Alva’s Education Foundation. Flood-lit Laksha Deepotsav will be held at 10.00 pm onwards.
