Brahmavar, Jun 10: A youth succumbed to injuries he sustained in a collision between two motorbikes. The accident happened at Kudrikatte, Shiriyara, on Monday June 8. The victim was Kiran Poojary (26), resident of Kodlabail, Shiriyara.
The motorbike that was taking a turn towards Kolkebail at Kudrikatte junction on Shiriyara - Saibrakatte route collided with a motorbike that was heading towards Shiriyara. Kiran, who was riding the motorbike, suffered serious injuries in the accident. He was immediately admitted into a private hospital at Udupi but he did not respond to treatment.
The deceased was an autorickshaw driver by profession and was popular because of his soft and friendly nature. He is survived by parents and a brother. A report about the accident was filed at Kota police station.
