Mumbai: 11 Palghar lynching suspects test positive for COVID-19

Mumbai, Jun 17: Eleven suspects of Palghar lynching case kept in police lock up in Wada tested positive for COVID-19. Swab samples of 17 suspects were taken for tests and the results had arrived on Monday June 15.

A 55-year old suspect had tested positive last month.

In April, two sadhus and their driver were beaten to death by a mob of tribals at Gadchinchale village in Kasa.
