Kaup, Jul 11: It is reported that a young lady committed suicide by jumping into a well near Quality Poultry Farm in Shirva village near here.

The victim was Sowbhagya (18), daughter of Yallappa, residing in a rented house near Quality Poultry Farm, Shirva.

Sowbhagya had left her home on July 8 morning and become untraceable ever since. Her body was found in a well near her home on Friday July 10 morning. A report of unnatural death filed in Shirva police station said that she would have been mentally distressed due to personal reasons and because of this she might have taken this extreme step

Shirva police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
