Bengaluru: Gang which robbed cash from ITC distributor nabbed

Bengaluru, Jul 27: A gang which had recently threatened a distributor of ITC company and robbed him of Rs 45 lac stands arrested.

The police, who investigated the case, had come to know that a former employee of ITC Company was the kingpin of this robbery. The police found that the stolen cash was concealed inside the tyres. The money stuffed in tyres was hidden inside the house of one of the accused.

Muhammad Ishak was earlier working for ITC Company. He had left job after which he had formed a team of robbers. His accomplices, Muhammed Parvez, Muhammed Adnan and Afnan Basha had joined Ishak in threatening cigarette distributor Rakesh Pokaran (40) on June 11 by threatening and relieving him of cash.

Rakesh manages Rakesh Agency. He is a resident of HBR Layout. His company has over 80 staff members.
