Udupi, Jul 29: H Pundalika Bhat (76) of Kadiyali expired on the morning of July 29.
He was famously known for his culinary skills in the locality.
Pundalika Bhat carried out a catering business under the name 'Bhat ji's Caterers'. He is survived by his wife and two children.
He had also arranged for free meals for many needy people through his catering services. Pundalika Bhat was a staunch member of the Rashtriya Swayam Sevaka Sanga.
Udupi MLA Raghupathi Bhat, Raghavendra Kini, president Udupi Urban development authority expressed their grief for his demise.
