Mangaluru: Pedestrian crossing road killed near Manjanady

Mangaluru, Jul 29: In an accident which happened at Munnuru Majal Thota within Ullal police station limits on Tuesday, July 28, a woman who was crossing the road was killed after a minibus knocked her down.
 
The deceased has been identified as Girija (60), resident of Sampigedadi in Harekala village. She was crossing the road on her way to her relative's residence when the accident happened.
 
Girija suffered serious injuries in the accident and breathed her last on the spot. A case stands registered against the driver of the minibus in the city (south) traffic police station.
