Koppal, Jul 29: A bank employee undergoing quarantine at a lodge opposite the central bus stand in the city died under suspicious circumstances on the evening of Tuesday July 28.
Rajashekhar (31), working for Pragathi Grameen Bank's Yalaburga office, lost his life. As one of the staff members of his bank had tested positive for coronavirus, the bank had been sealed down. The other staff who had come in contact with the said person were advised to undergo quarantine.
Rajashekhar reportedly hired a room at the lodge here for quarantine. Circumstances leading to his death are being probed now.
