Yadagiri: Without treatment, woman loses struggle for life opposite hospital

Yadagiri, Jul 30: Neglected by doctors of the district government hospital here, a lady suffering from breathing complications, waited to be treated in an ambulance opposite the hospital, and breathed her last after struggling for life.

An ill woman was bought in an ambulance to the district COVID hospital here on Wednesday from Shahapur. The ambulance reached the hospital at 8 am. The staff reportedly refused to admit her into the hospital without the doctor's approval. In spite of repeated frantic pleas of the family members, the woman remained inside the ambulance and died in front of the eyes of the people at around 8.30 am.

The relatives of the woman went inside the hospital and searched for the doctors after the staff refused to admit her. Hundreds of people could see the woman struggling for life inside the ambulance, the door of which was wide open. The family members rued that the woman would have survived if the staff had provided some treatment at least inside the ambulance.

Deputy commissioner of the district M Koorma Rao said that he has learnt about the death of a woman in front of the district COVID Hospital. He said he will seek a report from the doctors and take necessary actions.

    Really what is happening in karnataka ,India?so sad ,that noone even came out to see the patient forget treating.Atleast first give a look and why and what can be.Now they wantreport and take necessary action ?First arrest him /her ,then ask report.Thats not at all human.May her sul find peace above.Heartfelt sympathy to the family.Her relations could atleast brought her a bit earlier .
