Bantwal: Misadventure of youngsters jumping into river faces criticism

Bantwal, Aug 10: A new video of some youngsters jumping into River Netravati that is in spate, from the bridge has been shared on social media widely. The youth are being criticised by the people for undertaking such dangerous adventures. 

On Saturday, a few young men reportedly had jumped into the river from the old bridge at Panemangalore. The water level in the river on Saturday was 9.3 metres. The people have urged the police department and taluk administration to restrain such activities. The local leaders have been urged to warn the youngsters involved to desist from such things.
