Udupi, Aug 18: District BJP president, Yashpal Suvarna has welcomed chief minister B S Yediyurappa’s decision to permit Ganeshotsava celebrations in a simple manner.

He thanked all the ministers, MLAs and MPs who helped in the relaxation of the guidelines. He requested them to celebrate in an environmentally friendly manner in view of the coronavirus pandemic.

In the press release he hoped that through the devotion of Ganesha by the devotees, the coronavirus disaster may disappear.
