Mangaluru, Aug 19: The parish priest of Derebail Church, Fr Austin Peris on Wednesday, August 19 inaugurated 'Fresh Fish Mart' a Government of Karnataka enterprise under State Fisheries Development Corporation Limited near Derebail Church.
Fr Austin Peris blessed the outlet and also inaugurated the IB fruits & vegetable outlet attached to Fresh Fish Mart.
Speaking on the occasion, corporator Shashidhar Hegde said, "Fresh Fish Mart along with IB fruits & vegetable outlet has been inaugurated. This will help the locals to buy fresh vegetables, fruits and fish. I wish success and all the best to the owners and their business.
The event was compered by Sheldon Crasta.
The owner of Fresh Fish Mart, Chris D'Souza, Reshma Pinto, owner of IB fruits & vegetables, Ismail and vice-president of Derebail Church, Sheela D'Souza were present.
