Udupi, Aug 20: Raghupati Bhat, MLA on Wednesday, August 19 distributed motorized tricycle to beneficiaries, who have more than 75% disability in their body, .
The department for Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens of Karnataka had sanctioned motorized tricycles to people who have more than 75% of physical disability but stable mentally and also have control over their hands. This was distributed to eight beneficiaries in the DC office campus at Rajatadri of Manipal.
Dinakar Babu, president of zilla panchayat, Sheela K Shetty, vice president, Puneet, member ZP, Srinivas Rao, chief planning officer of zilla panchayat, Sheshappa, deputy director of women and children welfare department Chandra Naik, district welfare officer for the differently-abled and other officials were present.
