Kundapur: Man electrocuted as power flows when repairing connection

Kundapur, Aug 20: A person who was checking the faulty power supply and trying to set right the same near the fridge got electrocuted on Tuesday, August 18 night.

Kumbaramakki Raghavendra Acharya (30), working as an electrician and welder, who was a resident of Hosadu village, lost his life in this incident. 

On the night of Tuesday, the power supply at his house was not functioning properly. To check what had gone wrong and to restore power, Acharya was working near the refrigerator when unexpectedly he suffered strong electric shocks. He collapsed to the ground. Even though he was taken to the government hospital at Kundapur, his life could not be saved.

A case in this connection was registered in Gangolli police station.
