Mangaluru, Aug 20: The branch here, of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), organized various competitions for its students in the event of its golden jubilee celebrations.
During the celebrations held at ICAI Bhawan, Padil on August 19, the awards were presented to the winning students.

CA Surendra Nayak, CFO of OMPL, was also felicitated during the function. Managing director of Jyothi Laboratories Ltd CA Ullas Kamath, CA Dr Abhishek Murali secretary, SIRC of ICAI addressed the gathering. The formal functions were followed by virtual sessions by the resource persons CA Dr Girish Ahuja, New Delhi and CA Dayanivas Sharma, Hyderabad. CA SS Nayak, chairman of the branch, said the Mangaluru branch is keen to embark on a golden age.

Former chairman, CA Rudolph, MC Rodrigues, vice-president CA K Subramanya Kamath, secretary, CA Abdul Rahman Musba, treasurer CA Prasanna Shenoy M, chairman of SICASA, CA Gautam Nayak M, member, CA Gautam Pai D, immediate past chairman, CA Anantha Padmanabha were also present.
