Kundapur rural police arrest two ganja peddlers - Confiscate drugs, vehicles

Kundapur, Aug 20: Kundapur rural station sub-inspector Rajkumar and senior police officer accompanied by police staff on a tip-off regarding ganja peddling conducted a raid at a shed belonging to Krishnayya Shetty, Imbali, Japti village on Thursday, August 20 and arrested two of the three peddlers.

The arrested suspects are Karani Mohammed Nadeem (25) and Betti Mohammed Afzal (28). Both of them are residents near J M Road, Kandloor, Kavradi village, Kundapur. As per sources, third suspect Rayan fled the scene.

Police personnel have confiscated 360 grams of ganja worth Rs 8,000, a Honda Dio, a Honda Activa bike and two mobile phones in the raid. A case in this connection has been registered in Kundapur rural police station.
