Chikkamagaluru, Aug 31: After a lady from Bengaluru persistently pestered her parents to take her to Megur in Koppa taluk in the district, they brought her here. The lady reportedly said that Megur happened to be her native place in one of her earlier births.

The lady was brought to Megur in Javali gram panchayat limits on Sunday. She is from Nagavara near Hebbal, Bengaluru. Since the last few months, she has been behaving strangely, it is learnt. She did not consume food properly. When questioned by her parents, she said that she had been born as the daughter of a priest in Megur four generations ago. She wanted to visit that place.

The parents, under pressure, brought her to Lord Amritheshwara temple, Megur. After reaching the village, the parents witnessed her behaviour returning to normalcy. A local, Channakeshava Gowda, said that elders in the village have been unable to recall a priest as mentioned by the lady in the village.
