Udupi: 25 year old commits suicide by jumping in front of running train

Udupi, Sep 4: A 25-year-old man has ended his life by jumping in front of a running train. Mehram, the deceased was employed at Rima Plywood and Hardware shop at Kalsanka, Udupi belonging to Pannaram.

He believed to have committed suicide between 9.30 pm on Thursday, September 3 to 7.45 am on Friday, September 4 on Karamballi railway poles 688/4-688/5 due to unknown mental distress.

A case has been registered- No. 26/2020 under section 174 CRPC at Manipal police station as per the complaints given by his elder brother Sheraram (28), a temporary resident of Room No 402, opposite Indrali mosque, Shivalli village, Udupi and permanent resident of Untavalia, Nagaur, Rajasthan state.
