Udupi, Sep 4: Ravichandra, assistant police sub-inspector, DCIB, Udupi has taken three men into custody reportedly for the consumption of cannabis (ganja) near Indrali Suvidha Apartment building. Abraham Jensin (21), resident of Suvidha Home Apartment, Indrali, Udupi; Usama (22), resident of Mars Orient Apartment, Room No 105, behind Indrali Petrol bunk, Udupi; and Arjuna S Murali (18), resident of Sindhubhavan, Ramnagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
The three accused were produced before the professor and the head of KMC forensic division who examined them and confirmed that the three men have consumed ganja. A case has been registered - No. 143/2020 under section 27 (b) NDPS at Manipal police station in this connection.
