Mangaluru, Sep 7: An online Marian quiz through the Google Quiz platform was recently organized by the vivacious youth of Neermarga parish under the able leadership and guidance of Fr Anil D Mello, the parish priest.
Families residing in the parish and abroad actively participated in this quiz and received the result immediately after finishing it. The questions were of multiple-choice options. There were 30 questions based on the blessed virgin Mary to be answered by the participants. At the end of the quiz, the 30 participants answered all the questions correctly. A cash prize of Rs 3000 and Amchi Mai were shared among the winners. The entire quiz was scrutinized by the parish priest.
On the whole, the quiz on mother Mary, enabled the participants to shed light on the meaning and significance of the Marian feasts, understand the role of Mary in their salvation and deepen their faith through prayer and reflection.
