Bengaluru, Sep 9: The Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FKCCI) has welcomed the directions of Ministry of Corporate Affairs and the order issued by Registrar of Companies, Karnataka extending the due date for holding the Annual General Meeting (AGM) by three months.
Incidentally, Karnataka Registry is the first one to issue such an enabling order. This was the demand of the Trade and Industry community, in view of challenges in annual account finalization, completion of an audit and over and above holding the Annual General Meetings.
With this order, all the companies in Karnataka will have a respite and sufficient time to conduct the AGM before end of December 2020, said FKCCI president C R Janardhana.
