The cycle yatra is led by party president Ravi Krishna Reddy, said KRS state vice president Amrith Shenoy at a press meet held in KRS office Kunjibettu Kadiyali here on Wednesday, September 9.

Amrith Shenoy said, "We the people of India thought that the government will respond to difficulties of the poor. But nothing as such has happened. Auto drivers, labourers have not received packages which were announced by the Karnataka government during the lockdown. Due to lockdown, many industries and business ventures were closed down. Still, the government did not take any measures to regenerate income or develop the economy."
