Udupi, Sep 11: "The duration of 52 B and C grade temples is over. Make an announcement to form new management committees for these temples whose management officials have already been appointed,” said Muzrai minister Kota Srinivas Poojary to Muzrai department officials.

He was speaking while presiding over the first meeting of Zilla Dharmika Parishat at the DC office auditorium here on Friday. He gave details about Parishad procedures to the Dharmika Parishat members.

He asked committee members to identify a suitable place to start Veda school in the district and officials to issue identity cards to all the members. He gave details of the release of Tasteek in the district.

Deputy commissioner G Jagadeesha, additional DC Sadashiva Prabhu, religious endowment department in charge assistant Sheshappa, tahsildar Sudhakar, Zilla Dharmika Parishat members Hariprasad Bhat, Ram Bhat, Vasudeva Hangarkatte, Shalini, Sunil, Pranay Shetty, Ramakanth Devadiga and Mohan Upadhyaya were present.
