Mandya: Couple dies, 10 injured in accident between bike, two cars

Mandya, Sep 14: In an accident that happened between a motorbike and two cars at Dasanadoddi village of Malavalli taluk in the district on national highway 209 on Sunday September 13, a couple lost their lives. The unfortunate victims of the accident happened to be Madhusudan Joshi, a Kannada professor at Channapatna, and his wife, Ganga Joshi.

Ganga Joshi, Madhusudan Joshi and their daughter, Anusha were heading to view Gaganachukki falls from Channapatna in their car. The Gaganachukki falls is located at Shivanasamudra in Malavalli taluk. In the serial accident, both the cars were badly mangled. A total of ten people seated in the cars and a motorbike were injured.

Ganga Joshi breathed her last on the spot. Madhusudan Joshi was admitted into a private hospital at K M /Doddi in critical condition. He did not respond to treatment and breathed his last. Anusha, who survived with minor injuries, is recovering at the hospital.
