Mangaluru: Campus Front Ullal urges for repair of Anganwadi building

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (EP)

Mangaluru, Sep 22: Campus Front Ullal visited the Anganwadi building in Deralakatte that has become weak and held discussions with the teacher there over problems in the centre. They later submitted a request to the panchayat development officer urging him to repair the building soon.

“There has been rainwater seepage in the 23-year-old building since the last seven years. Though it was repaired recently after several requests, the seepage has not stopped. Cracks have developed on the walls of the kitchen. The building is about to collapse at any time. Though Anganwadi centres are likely to be opened soon, the officials have not paid any attention to it,” said the delegation.

Campus Front Ullal area secretary, Asham Kinya, members Arafat and Naufal were present.
