Karwar: Four killed in accident near Kirwatti

Karwar, Sep 25: In an accident which happened near the checkpost at Kirwatti village in Yallapur taluk on Thursday, September 24, four persons lost their lives on the spot. The accident happened between a car and a truck.

Ravi Nair (58), and Pushpa Ravi Nair (55), both from Delhi, as well as Harindranath Nair (62) and Padmakshi Nair (86) from Mumbai, were killed in this horrible road accident. The accident happened when a car bearing Delhi registration number collided head-on with a truck bearing Maharashtra registration number coming from the opposite direction.
