Puttur: Acid attack on two, accused held when fleeing

Puttur, Sep 25: Shiny, resident of Konalu in Nelyadi, and her relative, Jhansi, were attacked with acid on Thursday, September 24. A case was registered in Uppinangady police station in this connection under different provisions of the Indian Penal Code.

The police, during their probe, found out that Biju Thomas, husband of Shiny, was near Uppinangady bus stand for escaping from the police investigation. The police sub-inspector and other personnel went there along with a few staff of Puttur police circle office and arrested the accused.

During their preliminary questioning, the police have found that the accused had attacked his wife and another woman with the explicit aim of killing them. He was nursing enmity with them relating to some family problems. Further investigation is on.

    Husband throwing acid on wife and other person?Nothing to say.what a satan s act here going on.If any acid left should have thrown on him or his face immediately to show how one feels and effect it works.Over that trying to flee.Not a very intelligent man.waiting for bus ? Now he can wait in jail either to be hanged or till end of his life time.Dont let out.Wish the two victims recovery of heath fast and all the best.
