a case of theft reported from a flat located in an apartment complex near Morgan’s Gate in the city on Monday April 12 morning, approximately 100 grams of gold ornaments and Rs 19,000 have been reported to have been stolen by unidentified thieves.

The flat in question is on the second floor of Ramaprasad Apartments near Morgans’s gate.  Residents of the flat, Chitralekha and her son, on their return on Monday morning after attending a puja function in the house of a relative, found that the thieves had gained entry into the flat by breaking open its rear door.
