Bangalore: KE Organizes Talk on Human Resources Development

Bangalore, Apr 19: A meeting of the members of Kanara Entrepreneurs (KE), Bangalore, was held recently at The Grand Magrath Hotel, Magrath Road, in the city.

Ivan Fernandes, chairman, KE, Global, in his speech, appreciated the various events and progress at KE, Bangalore, during the past one year.

He spoke about mentoring, education, and networking, and its benefits towards the development of entrepreneurships, wealth creation, and preservation.

Fernandes assured that any new proposals for investments may be looked into favourably with due diligence.

‘It’s all About People’, a talk on human resources development, was the event of the day.

Anil Rego, director, events, introduced the speaker of the day Clarence D’Souza, senior vice-president, HR and corporate affairs, Volvo-India.

In his presentation on ‘Human Resource Management’, he covered topics on various aspects of the changing world, work force trends, and challenges, demand and supply, role of HR professionals, and many more.

The presentation was conceptualized and prepared keeping in mind the interests of the various members of KE. At the end of the presentation, there was a Q&A session. The excellent presentation was overwhelmingly received by all and the members acknowledged his contribution.

KE, affiliated to Kanara Entrepreneurs–Global (KE–Global), is the 2nd Chapter after Kanara Entrepreneurs Ltd (KEL), Dubai.

It was started to foster, support, and nurture entrepreneurship among people in the Kanara region representing coastal and other parts of Karnataka. It comprises of successful, young and budding entrepreneurs, senior corporate executives and professionals willing to share their expertise, ideas and strengths with others for benefit of society.

Membership is open to successful business persons, senior corporate executive or senior professional (accredited post-graduate or equivalent to qualification), of Kanara Region with a reputable background who has the willingness to share his strengths with others and the commitment to strive for the betterment of the Kanara entrepreneurs.
