Mangalore: City Chief Judicial Magistrate Suspended

Mangalore, Apr 20: Chief judicial magistrate here, and chief civil judge (senior division), Anand N Pathan, has been suspended through an order issued by the state High Court.

The lawyers and the advocates had alleged corruptive practices on the said judge, relating to a land dispute. A complaint had, in this connection, been lodged with the administrative judge of the state High Court.

The High Court, in its order, said that the suspension will be in force till the inquiry into the allegations is completed.

    It is disgusting to read the news of suspension of Anand M Pathan CJM & Chief Civil Judge(sr.Divn)Mangalore by Honourable High Court on charges of alleged corruptive practices.Advocates have done a good job by exposing the alleged misdeed.This should be a eye opener for all those who are in legal profession.
