Udupi, Apr 21: A Konkani CD titled Sukni Gaytat (birds singing) was released for the benefit of Konkani music-buffs under the aegis of Shaina Beats at Kundapur Junior College here, recently.

Speaking on the occasion, Fr Alban D’Souza, deanery vicar and parish priest of Our Lady of Rosary, here said that Thelma Stany Martha Madyantar (Sastan, Cyprus) is a popular Konkani writer who had sponsored the CD that has many songs composed by Pascal D’Souza and Marcus Almeida, parishioner of Our Lady of Rosary.

Wilson Olivera was felicitated for the valuable contributions in Konkani during the programme. Basil D’Souza, Diana Almeida and Clifford Gonsalves were present on the dais.
