Washington, Oct 15 (IANS): US President Donald Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen has revealed that he was writing a second book on his experiences with the Justice Department, just a month after the release of his first tell-all.
Released last month, Cohen's first book, titled Disloyal: A Memoir: The True Story of the Former Personal Attorney to President Donald J. Trump", went on to become a number one New York Times bestseller.
In the book, Cohen described Trump as a narcissist and sociopath, while also detailing alleged racist comments made by the President.
Speaking to Politico news on Wednesday about his new book, Cohen said: "There's so much more to the story that hasn't been told, tangentially related to Donald Trump.
"It is fair and accurate to state that President Trump has weaponized the Department of Justice against those he deems to be a threat thus making it into the Department of Injustice."
The former lawyer told Politico news that he has worked on the new book for about a month and is almost done with the outline.
According to Cohen, the new book will detial discussions of the warrant for the raid of his office and hotel room, as well as his views of the prosecutors who went after him; the banks and other witnesses who worked with the Justice Department; the judges who worked on his case; the Christopher Steele dossier; and how government officials dealt with him.
Although he was sentenced to three years in prison for tax fraud and lying charges, Cohen was released from prison in July and is serving the rest of his sentence in home confinement.
