Kasargod: Police arrest two women accused of stealing from employer

Kasargod, Oct 22: Police personnel have arrested Hassan residents Poornima (25) and Pramila (24) in connection with the thefts that took place in the house where they were employed.

The thefts were reported in the house of Vorkady, Kattathe resident Suhasini. The incident happened in February. Jewellery, Rs 2,000 cash, mobile phone, ATM card etc were stolen.

The accused also withdrew Rs 25,000 using the Karnataka Bank ATM card. The women were employed since the last one year. The theft had taken place when Suhasini was sleeping in the afternoon. Manjeshwar police who received information that the two women were in Hassan, went there and arrested them.

    Here employer too was bit too lazy to leave the ATM cards and jewellary without locking in the cupboard. one is attracted to this when doesnt have .They were young.Of course it doesnt give them right to steal.Hope both sides they learnt the lesson.Thank God theft was found earlier .Always keep a eye on employees ,specially young and not known people.
