Bantwal: New Mittabail Qazi says post carried lot of responsibilities

Bantwal, Nov 2: The newly appointed Mittabail Jamaat Qazi, Asayyed Muhammed Jifry Muttu Koya Tangal, president of Samastha Kerala Jamiyyatul Ulama, said that the post of the Qazi comes with a lot of responsibilities which are to be discharged with utmost care and caution. He said that even if there is some lethargy, the entire community will face problems and difficulties for which the Qazi will be held accountable and responsible.

He was speaking after accepting the post of the Qazi of Mittabail Jamaat, Mohiyuddin Jumma Masjid on Sunday November 1 evening at the Mohiyuddin community hall of Mittabail near BC Road.

He said that from the moment he took over charge as the Qazi of this Jamaat, he would be handling his work with responsibility and efficiency. "There is a need for Qazi for every Mohalla. Qazis should be appointed strictly as per the Shariat and the people of the Mohalla should follow the leadership of the Tzi so appointed," he observed.

Zainul Abideen Tangal Kunnungai, speaking after inaugurating the programme, said that the people of this Jamaat are lucky that Samastha Kerala Jamiyyatul Ulema president, Asyyed MuhammedJifry Muttu Koya Tangal, who has been guiding the entire Muslim community, has accepted the post of the Qazi here. He said that by following the guidance of Ulemas, all problems of the community can be addressed.

Zainul Abideen Jifry Tangal Posott, Patoor Ustad, K S Ali Tangal Kubol, Hussain Baalavi Tangal Kukkaje, Bollur Ustad, Umarul Farooq Faizi, M Y Ashraf Qaizi, Ibrahim Bakhavi K C Road, Usman Faizi Todar, Abees Kausari, Abdul Khader Darimi Kukkila, Abdul Aziz Darimi Thokkabettu, Abdul Latif Darimi Renjalady, Qasim Darimi, Ismail Yamani, Irshad Darimi Mittabail, Hasim Ustad Mittabail, Fakruddin Darimi, Muhsin Faizi, Ashfaq Faizi, Abid Ustad, Abyakker Siddique Darimi, K K Suraliman Faizi Kaniyoor, Abdul Khader Haji, former mayor, Ashraf Mangaluru and others participated as chief guests.

Treasurer of Mittabail Jumma Masjid, S M Muhammed Ali, vice president, Muhammed Sagar, Abdul Rahman S H, joint secretaries, Adam Palla, Ashraf Santiangady etc were present.

Dakshina Kannada district Jamiyyatul Muaallimeen, Karnataka Faizees Association, Dakshina Kannada district SKSSF, Kidmatul Islam Committee Parlia, Hidayatul Islam Madrasa Talipadpu, Madeena Masjid Nandarabettu, Al Arafa Masjid Kelagina Mitabail, Muslim Youngmen's Association Shantiangady, Nusraf Miladunnabi Sangha Shantiangady, Imdad Helpline /charity Shantiangady, Noorania Association Madda, Mounatul Masakeen Talipadpu, Ihsan Meeladunnabi Sangha, SYS Mittabail, SKSSF BC Road, SKSSF Shantiangady, SKSSF Parlia, Tarbiayuatul Rifai Daf Committee Talipadpu, Irshadul Masakeen Association Nandarabettu, Al Bir Karnataka, and Madinatul Ulama Mittabil felicitated the new /qazi.

Mitabaill Juma Masjid general secretary, Abdul Salaam B H, welcomed the gathering. Auditor, Muhammed Addedi, proposed the vote of thanks. A joint secretary, Akbar Ali, presented the programme.
