Udupi: Manipal Arogya card enrolment extended till Nov 30

Udupi, Nov 2: Dr Avinash Shetty, the medical superintendent of Kasturba Hospital announced that owing to public demand, the Manipal Arogyacard enrolment is extended to November 30. He also said, "As part of the 20th year observation, we introduced a simple card making process and a pre-printed smart card will be issued to the cardholder on the spot which will be easy to carry. Quick access programme has been introduced for the easy flow of making the cards. By paying a small sum as membership fee anybody can obtain membership and he/she will receive his/her investment back in the form of concessions in just two or three usages of the card.

“This 20th year of Manipal Arogya Card includes one year and two-year scheme with the inclusion of Durga Sanjeevani Manipal Hospital, Kateel in the scheme. Card memberships include, individual membership for 1 person, at Rs 250, family membership includes his/her spouse and any number of children below 25 years at Rs 500 and family plus membership includes individual, spouse, any number of unmarried children below 25 years and up to four parents including in-laws at Rs 650 which is the additional benefit. For the two-year scheme, the individual scheme at Rs 400, the family at Rs 700 and family plus at Rs 850. The Arogya card can be used any number of times in one year or two years according to plan,” he added.

The Manipal Arogya cardholder can avail the following discounts at Kasturba Hospital, Manipal

  • 50% discount on all specialist or super-specialist doctor consultations
  • 30% discount on diagnostics and laboratory investigations
  • 25% discount on inpatient bill excluding consumables in the general ward
  • 20% discount on radiology investigation
  • 20% discount on OP procedures and diabetic foot care
  • Up to 12% on the medicines purchased from the hospital pharmacy

The scheme is applicable at the Manipal Group of hospitals in coastal Karnataka and Goa. Which includes Kasturba Hospital Manipal, Dr TMA Pai Hospital Udupi and Dr TMA Pai Rotary Hospital Karkala, KMC Hospital Dr B R Ambedkar circle and KMC Hospital Attavar in Mangaluru, Durga Sanjeevani Manipal Hospital, Kateel and 2 dental colleges namely Manipal College of Dental Sciences Manipal and Mangaluru and Manipal Hospital Goa.
