Udupi, Nov 6: Minister for rural development and Panchayat Raj K S Eshwarappa paid a cordial visit to Palimaru math.

Seer of Adamaru math, Sree Vishwapriyatheertha Sripada, Palimaru math seer, Sree Vidhyadheeshatheertha Sripada, Kainyur math seer, Sree Vidyavallabhatheertha Sripada, Sode math seer, Sree Vishwavallabhatheertha Sripada, Paryaya Adamaru math seer, Sree Eshapriyatheertha Sripada and junior seer of Palimaru math Sree Vidyarajeshwaratheertha Sripada were present.

The seers drew the attention of the minister towards installing a huge idol of Sri Krishna at Malpe beach. They said that Acharya Madhwa had found Kadegolu of Sri Krishna at Malpe sea beach. Though the foundation stone was laid years ago, the work is still not started.

Minister Eshwarappa promised that he will look into the matter and resolve the issues in installing the idol and try to install the same as soon as possible. Udupi MLA Raghupati Bhat accompanied minister Eshwarappa.

Senior and junior seers of Palimaru math felicitated the minister by offering him memento and shawl.
