Mangaluru, Nov 7: A towing vehicle was taking away vehicles which had been found parked by the roadside in no parking zone near the State Bank area here on Friday November 6. At that time, the owner of a two-wheeler vehicle blocked the towing vehicle by standing in front of it and blocking its movement.

A case stands registered against the man concerned, accusing him of obstructing the personnel from discharging their duties.

The case against the owner of the vehicle was filed on the basis of complaint made by the city traffic (west) station assistant sub-inspector Suraj Shetty. A video showing the towing vehicle lifting the said two-wheeler for parking rule violations and taking it away, and the vehicle owner arriving at that time and blocking the movement of the towing vehicle has become viral in the social media.

This inspector it seems fines Rs.1750. Is wrong parking charge so much??. The 2 wheelers parked where no obstruction happens to others are also carried away. There are no proper markings/"no parking" boards in the city, whereever the official feels, its no parking,
