Kasargod, Nov 7: Manjeshwar MLA M C Kamaruddin is being questioned by a special investigation team over allegations of cheating nearly 700 customers of over Rs 130 crore. He is being questioned in district police training center here under the leadership of investigation team head, Vivek Kumar.

109 cases of cheating in fashion gold jewelry are already registered against him. Kamaruddin is the president of the jewelry business.
