Mangaluru: Motivational programme for women to become members of MCC ward committee

Mangaluru, Nov 12: CODP on November 10 organized a guidance programme for women to motivate them to apply as members of the Mangaluru City Corporation ward committee.

Fr Oswald Monteiro, director of CODP welcomed the participants and gave a brief introduction to the day’s topic. He told the participants that this is a God-given opportunity to serve society and he exhorted the participants to take an active part in their respective wards and address social issues and solve them, which would benefit the people of the society in building a healthy and harmonious society.



Lenet Gonsalves, the programme manager of CODP explained in detail regarding the documents required and procedure to fill in the application form.
